Creative Nonfiction Editor

Lena N. Gemmer (Creative Nonfiction Editor) is a multimedia artist originally from the quiet foggy town of Montara CA. She received her BA in English and History from Allegheny College in Meadville PA, and her MFA in Writing from University of New Hampshire. Her work has been published in Wild Roof Journal, Burningword Literary Journal, The Bangalore Review, among others. When she is not in graduate school pursuing a PhD in English CW at SUNY Binghamton, you can find her taking photographs or scolding her Norwegian Forest cat Mitchy.

C0-Fiction Editor

Hannah Licht is a recent graduate of University of Oregon’s MFA in Creative Writing, specializing in fiction. Currently, she’s living in New York where she is pursuing a PhD in English and Creative Writing at Binghamton University and is the co-Fiction Editor at Harpur Palate and co-organizer of the Common Ground Reading Series. You can find her work in Cream City Review.

Co-Fiction Editor

Ramón E. Veras (He/Him) is a Dominican-American writer from the Bronx and Washington Heights who enjoys writing speculative fiction while cackling over his sweaty keyboard. He has an MFA from The University of Alabama and is pursuing an English PhD at Binghamton University.

Poetry Editor

Lisa Compo has poems forthcoming or recently published in journals such as: Colorado Review, EPOCH, Arts & Letters, Chicago Quarterly Review, and elsewhere. She is a PhD student in SUNY Binghamton’s creative writing program and obtained her MFA from UNC – Greensboro. She has received several nominations for the Pushcart award and Best of the Net.

Art Editor

Kiernán Sullivan is a 3rd year PhD student at Binghamton University, specializing in medieval literature. Alongside teaching at the university, they are a freelance artist with over a decade of experience in character art and design, logo design, and illustration. They currently primarily work in digital art, but have experimented with oil paints, colored pencils, and watercolor as well.

Social Media Manager

Gabriela Guerrero, a college student at Binghamton University, majoring in English with a concentration in Creative Writing, was born and raised in Westchester County, New York. She’s drawn to stories about the connections, experiences, and emotions that shape who we are. And when she’s not reading, you can usually find her spending time with family and friends.

Marketing Manager

Karen Gabel, is an undergraduate student studying English Literature and Creative Writing with a particular interest in fiction writing. She is a noted bookworm and is always up for a conversation about the magic of reading. She loves cuddling with her cats and a hot cup of peppermint tea. Ask her about her love of Jane Austen!
