Harpur Palate is produced by graduate students in English at Binghamton University and named after the University's Harpur College of Arts and Sciences and for its distinctive taste in literary fare. Harpur Palate News: SUBMISSIONS NOTES: Any submissions received after October 25, 2006, and not related to the Food, Hunger, and Appetite issue (just published) will be held over for issue 7.2, to be published in January 2008. Response time for issue 7.2 may be 12-14 months, with all authors notified by the end of December 2007.If you have not heard from us by then, please query at harpur.palate@gmail.com. PLEASE BE ADVISED that Harpur Palate considers only ONE PROSE SUBMISSION and 3-5 POEMS per issue. Therefore, multiple submissions received between December 15 and April 15 will be recycled.
As of April 30, 2007, Harpur Palate no longer accepts submissions year-round. Please see our Submissions page for details on submission periods.
